 | Have a basic understanding of the ACADEMIC requirements for each of the individual schools you are interested in, as well as the ACADEMIC requirements for the athletic governing bodies such as the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA. For instance, the NCAA Div. I Academic requirements changed in 2008.  | If you do not have a key understanding of the different governing bodies that will determine your academic eligibility to play college sports, it is time to do this now. You will need to know the different ACADEMIC Eligibility Requirements needed for NCAA (Division I, II, III), NAIA, and NJCAA schools. Use JumpForward’s Knowledge Center to learn about these requirements and steps. |  | If you have not already done so, you will need to Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center, send your ACT/SAT scores to them, fill-out their Amateurism Certifications questionnaire, and more, all of which, are REQUIRED. Use JumpForward’s Knowledge Center to learn how to do this or visit the NCAA Eligibility Center. |  | Meet with you guidance counselor and plan to take all the required core courses needed to become academically eligible before you graduate high school. |  | After the FIRST day of school your senior year, you can begin to take Official Visits to the schools you are interested in. Use JumpForward’s College Search to find school information on programs and visit days |  | You will be allowed to take a maximum of 5 Official Visits to schools, so narrow down the 5 schools that you are interested in most. You may only take an official visit to each of those 5 schools-one per school.
